Word from the Director of Studies Welcome to World International School (WIS). WIS is a vibrant and friendly school for young people aged 11-16. We are the only school in the Brussels area offering a full International GCSE curriculum. The emphasis in all our work with children is to nurture them as independent, confident and reflective learners, guiding their development into responsible and tolerant individuals. We are small enough to be able to adjust to individual needs, providing a challenging and fun education, in an attractive environment. Whilst we recognize the importance of gaining academic qualifications through rigorous study that is by no means our sole motivation or aim.
